Nintendo updated on this Friday morning (250 details of the development of Metroid Prime 4, after months without updated information.
Kensuke Tanabe, original producer of the Metroid Prime franchise, is now directly involved with Metroid Prime 4, with all production now taking place from Retro Studios.
Nintendo also said that development will be rebooted.
The update came as a surprise in a video released by Nintendo, in the words of Shinya Takahashi, Senior Managing Executive Officer.
Takahashi said that the development of the game had not reached the quality the company plans to achieve with the franchise, so there was a lack of confidence in sharing new details. In addition, the development framework was modified.
Because the whole development process has returned to the beginning, the game will have a considerable delay in its launch.
